Fix an issue so that it only pulls the status for the defined interval

Problem:

Currently it's continuously requesting the status from github ignoring the global interval of 30 seconds

Tasks:

• Update so that it only requests updates for the set interval or default 30 seconds

i got caught in a loop and exceeded the Api rate limit

@RacHiT101 You should still be able to have a look at if its using the interval or not. Even if they're failing requests.
