Rakshit Singh

I like building products, especially around chess. I love working with AI agents and use them for almost everything: researching an idea, thinking through the product, writing code, testing it, and getting it out.

Work

  • I started Chessiro, a chess improvement product with game review, personalized training, and an AI coach.
  • I’m the technical head at OmFit for Parents, an online fitness program for parents over 55. I lead the technology behind the product.
  • I worked on SuperDM, across product and engineering.
  • I built the web product for Samay Raina’s chess community.
  • I’ve made tools for chess broadcasts, streamers, analysis, puzzles, and tournament coverage.

Things I’ve built in public

  • Relay Room — shared commentary rooms inside Lichess broadcasts.
  • Chessiro Canvas — a React chessboard with premoves, annotations, and overlays.
  • Chess Bench — a benchmark for chess libraries across different languages.
  • Titled Tuesday Widgets — broadcast widgets for chess streamers.
  • BM Frontend — the frontend for Samay Raina’s chess community platform.

I’ve also contributed to Muzer and dump-tickets.

Most of my work ends up using TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. The tools change; the part I enjoy is turning an idea into something people can use.
