The placeholder icon from #35/#36 read as a medieval knight's banner rather than a fire-service
mark. Replaced with a flame in the app's own signal-red/amber on the same dark tile — the most
universal "fire" symbol and the cleanest at small sizes.

Before After

Chosen from five fire-brigade concepts (flame, helmet, extinguisher, beacon, flame-on-clipboard).

Scope

Only the three committed assets change: icon.svg and the regenerated icon-1024.png +
multi-size icon.ico. Every installer consumer takes the icon path as a workflow parameter (WiX
IconFile, the .deb/.dmg PNG argument), and the macOS .icns is derived on the runner from the
PNG — so no workflow, .wxs, or script edits.

Verification

  • dotnet build src/Feuerwehr.App -c Release succeeds — this embeds icon.ico, so a malformed ico
    would fail here.
  • icotool -l confirms all seven sizes (16–256).
  • Full suite green: 332 tests (no code change).
