Fully implemented and verified the Package Measurement Conversion API using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Hibernate ORM. The application processes measurement strings and logs transaction records into an Oracle XE Pluggable Database (XEPDB1).
Key Changes
-Added dependency injection bindings (@service) to resolve initialization errors.
-Shifted JDBC configuration to target the XEPDB1 container schema.
-Added structured README.md and CHANGELOG.md documentation templates.
Server Deployment
The standalone .jar file was successfully transferred to an Oracle Linux VM host and is running as a permanent background daemon service using a dedicated Systemd unit configuration (oracleapi.service). Inbound traffic routing has been verified externally on port 8080.
