The base has been designed to hold the speaker precisely behind the speaker grid design. There is also a hole in the base to fit the end of the USB C adapter that the poer supply can be plugged into.
The top of the LED button can be removed. Print an 8 in Arial Black font at font size 72 on a sheet of white paper, cut it out and place it under the button.
