Kururin Squash appears out of nowhere

It happened to me and some other guy on reddit: Without ever playing or even owning the game there is a memcard created out of thin air for kururin squash (JPN). Even with a freshly formatted sd card. It's not a big deal as I just deleted it on my PC, but it's rather puzzling when you see it.

Ah so i am not crazy.
Yes this happened to me aswell. 100% sure it happens on firmware 1.0.0. Havent used the new firmware enough yet to know for sure.
@hmpfhmpf have you updated the firmware and does it still happen on newer firmware? Any idea on how to reproduce it?

After unpacking, I immediately updated to the latest firmware 1.1.3 and put in a brand new µSD. So as far as I can tell this issue persists.

I havent been able to reproduce it.
Do you own Kururin Squash?
I do own the game, and i only later realized that without booting a game, just showing the options in swiss or the banner 'Press Start' splashscreen in cubeboot will already transmit the GameID to the memorycard and a save will be created, before you even start the game.
So I now think thats actually how the save ended up there.

I don't own the game. I haven't tried to reproduce it, Maybe it's something with swiss, that it has this gameID somewhere in its code, transmitting it before something else can load. Just a speculation
