vrms has been a transitional package since bookworm, and is completely removed as of forky. This commit should fix a dependency failure on forky and higher.

For the record, the reason my signature is showing up as "Unverified" is because my Git commits use a different email address than my GitHub account. I am deliberately not hooking up the former email address to GitHub infrastructure for security reasons (trying to limit the impact if one of my email accounts were compromised). If there's some way for you to manually bypass that GitHub warning in my case, I'd appreciate it. :)
