Hi, I'm Lauri Komulainen

I have excellent database skills, including strong T-SQL expertise and query optimization in relational systems, alongside a strong understanding of artificial intelligence, particularly deep learning for biomedical signals. My master's thesis focuses on automatic sleep spindle detection from EEG using Residual 1D U-Net architecture.

Before transitioning into tech, I worked as a nurse for seven years in specialized and primary healthcare, a background that continues to shape how I approach healthcare technology projects.
