PR #2 was merged before the follow-up Go-removal commit was pushed. This PR contains that missing cleanup only.
It removes the legacy Go companion, its tests, release packaging, external-controller protocol, and Go CI setup. Documentation and CI now describe and validate the Rust-only native Codex CLI workflow.
