hello, internet.

Indie Developer · AI Tinkerer · Cat Guy 🐱

Building useful software, weird experiments, and things I wish already existed.

👋 Hey, I'm Rupjyoti

MCA grad from Assam, India, building independently across mobile, web, backend and AI.

Most of my projects start the same way:

“Wait... why doesn't this already exist?”

Then I lose a few evenings building it.

Right now I'm mostly messing around with AI agents, developer tools, security, local AI and indie software.

When I'm away from the editor, I'm probably gaming, editing something, or convincing myself that I absolutely do not need another side project.

That rarely works.

⚡ Currently

building:
  - AI agents & local AI systems
  - Developer tools
  - Security-focused software
  - Mobile apps

learning:
  - Rust
  - AI system architecture
  - Better backend design

status: "probably debugging something"

Systems & AI

🧩 Stuff I like building

🧠 AI & Agents

Local-first AI, autonomous agents, memory systems, automation and tools that can actually do things instead of only chatting.

🛡 Security

Permission systems, safer agent execution, zero-trust ideas and software designed to fail safely.

📱 Apps

Mobile products built around an actual use case without turning every screen into a startup landing page.

🧰 Dev Tools

CLI tools, utilities and tiny experiments usually created because something annoyed me enough to fix it myself.

🐱 Meanwhile, inside my terminal

ship it.

🎮 Outside the editor

coding █████████████████░░░
gaming ███████████░░░░░░░░
editing ███████░░░░░░░░░░░░
sleep ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░
new ideas ████████████████████

That last bar is becoming a problem.

🤝 Always interested in

  • interesting open-source projects
  • AI and agent experiments
  • developer tooling
  • security projects
  • useful indie products
  • ideas that sound slightly stupid until they work

If you're building something interesting, feel free to say hi.

probably coding something that wasn't on the roadmap.
