This is what I have in mind as a short post-push test plan (to be done on modern browser e.g. Firefox 3.6+, Chrome):
Run automatic location query and make sure it produces a sensible result.
Default 1/2 mile query centered at top of Logan Circle. This has a nice pattern of lines, including the yellow Metrorail line, that should be easy to recognize.
Click stop at 3 o'clock of circle (NW 7TH ST & NW P ST
METRO 70 to SILVER SPRING STATION & BUS BAY I
METRO 70 to 7TH ST NW & PENNSYLVANIA AVE NW
METRO 70 to NW CONSTITUTION AV & NW 9TH ST)
Click line just south of it (METRO 70 to NW CONSTITUTION AV & NW 9TH ST)
Single-click to restore original search
Click Dupont circle to run 1/2 mile query. Make sure old lines are erased and query updates correctly.
Run address query for: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington DC
If time permits, repeat procedure on iOS 5 device. See issue #8 for supported browsers.
