I'm Igor Kalinin (Игорь Калинин), a backend and data developer based in Saint Petersburg. I build API-driven products and data workflows with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and pandas. I enjoy projects where backend architecture, business logic, and messy real-world data meet.
A multi-role platform connecting students, graduates, employers, and curators through an opportunity feed and interactive map.
- My work: built the backend and a significant part of the frontend logic, including JWT authentication, four user roles, application workflows, PostgreSQL persistence, Alembic migrations, geocoding, risk moderation, and AI-assisted features.
- Result: 2nd place in the 2026 if...else Applied Programming final.

An ML pipeline that classifies noisy media search queries, normalizes titles and franchises, and predicts content types.
- My work: integrated the final pipeline, improved inference stability, prepared model artifacts, and combined dictionary matching, retrieval, embeddings, graph features, and calibrated predictions.
- Result: 3rd place at AI Business SPB 2026.
