Closing this superseded recovery checkpoint. Its reviewable lifecycle work has been rebuilt in PR #12, which preserves the current v0.4 surfaces, uses the specification validator package 0.2.1 candidate, and passes the full 14-job matrix. This PR remains available as historical reference and must not be merged. |

This draft preserved and audited the pre-v0.4 lifecycle WIP, but the first commit mixes catalog/Dolt lifecycle work with SPSS raw-dictionary semantics and regresses parts of the v0.4 CLI/docs. Commit history cannot split it safely. The release-ready replacement must be rebuilt from
origin/mainwith file/hunk-level selection.Preserved work
