Keeps historical provenance in immutable release records while making the public README unambiguous: current and future PastureStack artifacts use pure numeric versions, with project identity stored in metadata rather than tag suffixes.
Validation: focused README diff and git diff --check. Packaging logic and artifact bytes are unchanged.
