This repository contains a static website prototype for the Anzell Lab, a vascular biology and genetics research lab in the SLU Department of Pediatrics.
The site is designed as a public-facing lab website for research on Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, arteriovenous malformations, endothelial signaling, ALK1-related vascular biology, and rare vascular disease. It includes pages for the lab mission, research interests, active projects, publications, lab members, joining the lab, and contact information.
The goal of this project was to create a clean and professional lab website prototype that can help communicate the lab’s research to students, collaborators, patients, and external visitors.
The design focuses on making complex biomedical research easier to navigate while keeping the website lightweight, readable, and easy to maintain.

I designed and built the static website prototype, including the page structure, navigation, styling, responsive layout, research sections, project cards, member pages, join form layout, and contact structure.
The site was created as a draft foundation that can later be updated with final lab-approved text, real lab images, accurate publication information, and finalized member details.

Several sections still contain placeholder text, placeholder images, and draft scientific wording that should be reviewed and approved by the PI before public use.
Scientific content, publication details, images, member bios, and final wording belong to the PI and lab team and should be reviewed before the site is used as an official public lab website.
