Motivation

Relates to ROCm/TheRock#7923.

Technical Details

Drafting potential solution to the lack of install specific information in issue report template. Changes include

  • Update example OS and ROCm version to latest supported releases.
  • Remove /opt/rocm assumption for rocminfo
  • Add Install Method dropdown including Python Wheels, Package Manager, Tarball, Build from Source and other.
  • Add section to capture install specific information w/ suggested commands based on install type (pip freeze for Python wheels, apt based command for package manager).

This is just one potential solution that goes the route of adding onto the existing, org-wide template. If we intend on collecting more install specific information beyond this, we can opt for ~3 install specific issue templates with more detailed collection fields.
