The app hosted at excalidraw.com is a minimal showcase of what you can build with Excalidraw. Its source code is part of this repository as well, and the app features:
- 📡 PWA support (works offline).
- 🤼 Real-time collaboration.
- 🔒 End-to-end encryption.
- 💾 Local-first support (autosaves to the browser).
- 🔗 Shareable links (export to a readonly link you can share with others).
We'll be adding these features as drop-in plugins for the npm package in the future.

This repository includes a Lovart-inspired ChatCanvas shell that combines an infinite canvas with a right-side chat panel and left-side templates drawer. To enable the UI, launch the app and append ?ui=chatcanvas to the URL:
http://localhost:3000/?ui=chatcanvas
Key capabilities:
- Three-column shell with collapsible/resizable chat panel and templates drawer.
- Selection context pill that mirrors current canvas selection.
- Mock agent workflow: send chat messages, then apply responses to the canvas.
- Built-in templates for wireframes, flowcharts, and mind maps.
Known limitations:
- Agent responses are mock-only (no real backend).
- Selection context updates via polling.
- Templates append to the canvas (no replace/merge dialog yet).
