Read each target document's own status, date, scope and non-effects. File presence, package completion and navigation from this page do not by themselves change authority or maturity. Inspect the live Git state before treating the working tree as a versioned repository baseline.
- Ecosystem Constitution governs authority, organizational responsibilities and repository-level governance.
- Scientific Constitution defines methodological direction, scientific interpretation, translation, structural identity and evidence philosophy.
The two constitutional layers are complementary and have distinct scopes. Neither transfers authority to the other.

The Baseline Freeze is the current documentary entry to the scientific infrastructure. The other documents retain their own authority and status.

- Research Programs own bounded question families and their local documentation. Use the owning Program README.
- Research Institute packages inventory and connect existing work. They do not replace Program owners.
- Labs and Studies are located through the Lab Catalogue and their owning reports.
- Evidence and Reports retain the status assigned by their owning package; navigation does not promote them.
- Applications and Demonstrators are routed through the Application Landscape and remain subject to their recorded readiness boundaries.
- Field Notes are read through their Governance reference and remain distinct from Research and Evidence.
- Historical Audits and Reviews preserve the state observed at their date. Use them for provenance, then return to the Baseline Freeze for the current documentary entry.
Completed audits, architecture reviews, orientation pilots, runtime assessments and publishing reviews remain in place as dated records. Their historical Git-state observations must not be substituted for a live Git check. Start from this README and the Baseline Freeze, then enter a historical package through its own README when provenance or an earlier decision is relevant.
The Scientific Constitution defines the enduring methodological direction. Programs, Reports, Evidence and Experiments remain independently versioned, and navigation never changes their evidence status.
