Get rid of `ndarray`

It was a good crutch while it lasted, but it's a large dependency and we don't use much of it...

• Replace the *Repr types with owned and references slices
• Implement custom strides for cases mapping from an interleaved buffer (or remove feature entirely and force a copy from interleaved?)
