Thanks! The So, the ideal way to adjust these markers while translating is to make sure that, in each menu and submenu, every letter is used at most once as an accelerator. Apart from that, you can set the accelerators however you want. Usually it's set to the first letter of some relevant word for the more important menu items, and then to whatever's still available for the remaining ones. Let me know if you'd like to adjust the PR with that in mind, or if I should merge it now (in which case you can still send a follow-up PR later on if you need to). |

Gotcha! Makes sense. I think it should be fine the way it is then. :) |
Before I say anything: huge thank you for picking up Aegisub and not letting it die. I think we all owe you a big fat "thank you" for what you've done with this project. I've been using it since June 2006 when I first started fansubbing (and also later on when I worked for Crunchyroll), so it holds a special place in my heart. It is (and always will be) my favorite program. Anyway, as far as the translation goes, it took me a while 'cause there were many things to add and/or to correct, but hopefully I've done everything right. To be fair, I've done it only 'cause it didn't seem like anyone else was gonna do it and if I can give even just a tiny little contribution back to this project for all the years I spent using Aegisub and creating the karaoke and doing the typesetting etc I will.
Aaaaaaaaanyway, I do have one question regarding the "&".
Some text have & at the beginning of words etc, however, because in Italian we reorder the sentences (as they would sound weird otherwise), I ended up adding the & next to the word it has been translated as, albeit in a different position.
Example:
#: ../src/command/app.cpp:67
msgid "&Audio+Subs View"
msgstr "Mostra &Audio+Sub"
Is it ok or is it gonna cause problems?
I'm happy to change them if I've made a boo boo before you merge this (but hopefully I haven't XD)
Thank you in advance,
Franc.
