Vertebra Ligament Connection Project

Overview

This project provides MATLAB scripts for visualizing and connecting ligaments between vertebrae in a 3D model. The script processes vertebral models and highlights specific points based on predefined criteria, such as proximity to the center of volume or specific anatomical landmarks. The key features include:

  • Custom Ligament Connections: Connect specific points between two vertebrae based on predefined rules.
  • 3D Visualization: Generates a 3D plot showing the vertebrae and the ligaments connecting them.

Usage

  1. Input Models: Load the vertebral models (L1 to L5) using the graphicsModels function in Gibbon software.
  2. Define Points: Specify the points on the vertebrae to connect.
  3. Run the Script: Execute the script to visualize the ligaments connecting the vertebrae based on the specified criteria.
