This project provides MATLAB scripts for visualizing and connecting ligaments between vertebrae in a 3D model. The script processes vertebral models and highlights specific points based on predefined criteria, such as proximity to the center of volume or specific anatomical landmarks. The key features include:
- Custom Ligament Connections: Connect specific points between two vertebrae based on predefined rules.
- 3D Visualization: Generates a 3D plot showing the vertebrae and the ligaments connecting them.
- Input Models: Load the vertebral models (L1 to L5) using the
graphicsModelsfunction in Gibbon software. - Define Points: Specify the points on the vertebrae to connect.
- Run the Script: Execute the script to visualize the ligaments connecting the vertebrae based on the specified criteria.
- MATLAB
- 3D vertebral models in a compatible format.
