Build autonomous companies, under human control.
The open-source company harness. What Pi is to one Agent,
AgentOS is to the whole organization.

AgentOS is the organizational layer for persistent Agent teams. Bring the models, harnesses, repositories, trackers and infrastructure you already trust; AgentOS turns them into a crew with continuity, accountable ownership and a verifiable path from human intent to delivered evidence.

One Agent in one session works at the price of your full attention. Add more sessions and you become the infrastructure: switching tabs, carrying context, checking progress and recovering abandoned work.
AgentOS gives accepted work one owner, preserves handoffs and returns progress, risk and the decisions only people can make. Attach to any real terminal when you want detail. Stay in control without staying in every loop.

Help me bring AgentOS online — check my setup first, ask before changing anything.
It inspects your environment, explains the real choices and asks before cost, credentials, cluster creation, RBAC or installation. Then you meet First Mate: a persistent Agent that keeps the truthful company view while work continues.

Shape a UI, sketch backend architecture, research, implement, test or review where you think fastest. When the result deserves accountable follow-through, hand First Mate the desired outcome, evidence, artifact references, constraints and authority boundary. Accepted work gets one accountable Assignment; Fleet evidence returns for your next local review or iteration.

People should not have to accept one permanent Agent dashboard. Flect is the adaptable human interface for AgentOS. The name comes from Latin flectere: to bend, curve or turn. Flect makes that literal by letting the running interface bend around the person, task and decision. Shape a working UI from inside the product, keep or reject it safely, then use it with a dedicated App Agent.
Install Flect today to enter the company workplace. It assembles work, brings in the people with relevant context, expertise or authority, and helps revise a draft before bounded, approved intent returns to First Mate. AgentOS remains the durable authority for accepted work, decisions and ownership. Existing products can enter the same workplace through an embedded browser, iframe or deeper product and API adapter.

AgentOS publishes benchmark attempts—including failures—and links every result to sanitized evidence.
| Public proof | Observed result |
|---|---|
| Quickstart to reviewed delivery | Five declared attempts: three passed, one failed and one ended incomplete. The final two passes delivered in 16m 59s and 16m 16s. |
| Human attention | The final two passes needed zero Captain follow-up turns, repair interventions or manual operational actions. |
| Interrupted-worker recovery | Accepted work resumed after controlled runtime loss with no lost changes, duplicate effects or human repair. |
| Portability | A native Codex-only run passed the same portable benchmark without AgentOS or a compatibility layer. |

You state an outcome. First Mate turns accepted intent into owned work. Second Mates can lead durable domains; bounded Crewmates investigate or deliver. Human authority remains explicit where consequences live. Results and real-world signals return as evidence, decisions and reviewed learning—not notification noise.
Captain → First Mate → Second Mate → Crewmate
human intent → Task → Assignment → verified result

AgentOS connects the authorities a software company already needs without hiding them behind a universal wrapper or shadow world model.
| Concern | Authority |
|---|---|
| Human planning and provider workflow | Your chosen tracker or provider |
| Accepted work, ownership and decisions | PostgreSQL |
| Live workloads and persistent homes | Kubernetes |
| Inspectable harness sessions | Herdr |
| Delivered source and review artifacts | Git and its remote |
