Atomic Dark is a collection of OLED-optimized editor themes designed for developers who prefer deep blacks, vibrant syntax highlighting, and exceptional readability.

Instead of reinventing great color palettes, Atomic Dark reimagines them with a unified design language—pure black backgrounds, carefully tuned contrast, and polished UI styling across editors.

Whether you prefer the classic One Dark aesthetic, the softness of Rosé Pine, the vibrancy of Material, or the calm pastels of Catppuccin, Atomic Dark brings them together under one consistent experience.

Atomic Dark is built around a few simple principles:

• OLED-first: Deep black backgrounds that look stunning on OLED displays and help reduce power consumption.
• High readability: Carefully tuned syntax colors with strong contrast for long coding sessions.
• Familiar palettes: Inspired by some of the most beloved editor themes while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.

Atomic Dark currently includes six variants:

All variants share the same OLED-friendly UI foundation while preserving the personality of their original palettes.

More editor ports are planned as the project grows.

Every Atomic Dark theme is built on the same visual foundation:

Each variant then layers its own syntax palette and subtle UI accents on top to create a distinct personality without sacrificing consistency.
