Anchor β€” become a better you

Hi, I'm backslsh πŸ‘‹

I build small, private, dependency-free tools that run on your own machine.

Sponsor Anchor stars npm

βš“ Anchor: my main project

A relapse tracker that runs on your own machine and keeps your record to itself.

github.com/backslsh/anchor Β· Live demo Β· npx anchor-tracker

That image up top is Anchor's dashboard behind the project's wordmark, the dark UI you actually get: a sidebar of views down the left, the current clean run front and center as a single big number (41 days there), a glowing amber crystal on the right that is your streak rendered in WebGL, and beneath it your habits in their own colors alongside goals ticking along their progress bars.

No account. No subscription. No servers. No telemetry. No build step, and not a single dependency β€” clone it, run one command, and it works offline forever. Set a passphrase, and everything is encrypted on your own device with AES-256-GCM; the key never leaves your browser. It is private by architecture, because there is no backend that could leak.

The rule the whole project is built around: a logged relapse cannot be deleted. You can amend it, and every amendment is timestamped and kept, but nothing erases the record. That is the point, not a limitation.

Not medical software. It's a self-tracking tool, not treatment.

⭐ Star it, seriously

If any of that sounds like something you'd use, or you just like that it has zero dependencies, give Anchor a star. It costs you one click; it helps other people find it.

Star Anchor

πŸ’› Sponsor

Anchor is free, MIT, and has no revenue behind it, no ads, no paid tier, no telemetry to sell. If it's been useful to you and you'd like to help keep it (and whatever comes next) going, sponsorship is the way:

Tiers start at $5/month. Currently working toward a goal of 5 monthly sponsors. Entirely optional, always appreciated, and starring the repo is a perfectly good free alternative.
