* Stop pinning curl -- take whatever the archive currently has Third occurrence of the same failure class in days: the exact patch pin ages out every time Ubuntu ships a security update (.11 -> .12 in #23461, and .12 is already gone too -- archive is on .13 now). curl's version here doesn't affect chainlink's build behavior, so there's no reason to fight the OS's own patch cadence. Verified the resulting apt-get line installs cleanly against the live archive. * Pin curl to 8.5.0-2ubuntu10.13 Re-pin instead of leaving curl unversioned, per direct instruction to move forward without further pin-removal discussion. .13 is the current version in the Ubuntu 24.04 noble-updates/security archive.
