Project for 2026 FBLA Introduction to Programming. A game where you take care of a bunny, dog, or cat
To play you can visit Roblox here to play. If you want to check out/edit the code, download the rblx file in the repository to access the roblox studio file! To open the file, you must have Roblox Studio, the game engine used to program this project
All assets are built in Roblox's game engine, Roblox studio. All code, builds, and drawings are made by us. The music in game is sourced from Roblox.
Move your mouse to look around
Left-Click on buttons to open menus and buy things
To use items, left-click and hold on the item and drag it to your pet.
Move your mouse back and forth on your pet's head to pet it
These 3 bars indicate your pet's hunger, happiness, and hygiene. Feed, clean, and play activities to keep them healthy and level up.
Different things your pets eat will affect them differently based on the pet. This could drain or increase their stats. Stats will slowly drain over time, keep any of them from reaching 0!
You can see a summary of your expenses in the expenses menu. Make sure not to run out of money!
Activities are minigames you can play to increase your pet's happiness, level, and your money
The screen will change to a 2d Scene. Move your mouse left and right to move the pot. Move your pot to touch any falling food to earn 3 coins each food collected
The screen will change to a 2d Scene. Cats that will pop under grass. Clicking on the black cat will earn you 6 coins, and the moss cats will subtract 6 coins
Click on the Food Shop Button to open the shop, foods are seperated by their required levels
You can only buy food that you meet the level requirement and coin cost for. Clicking on use will spawn the food you can drag to feed your pet
While you can feed your pet anything, feeding your rabbit dog food may not led to increased stats. Choose wisely!
Click on the Hygiene Shop Button to open the shop
You can only buy items that you meet the coin cost for. Clicking on use will spawn the item you can drag to clean your pet and increase hygiene
When one of your stats drain to 0, your pet will be taken to the vet. The cost to treat them is 150 coins. The game ends if you can not pay this
You are given the symptom, and based of it and the list of medicine and their uses. Type in the medicine to give your pet You return home if the right medicine is prescribed. If it an incorrect medicine, you will lose 50% of your balance
