The toolkit for high-order neutrino radiation hydrodynamics (thornado) aims to provide numerical solution methods with applications to relativistic astrophysical systems such as core-collapse supernovae and binary neutron star mergers.
Development of thornado has been supported in part by the U.S. National Science Foundation through Award No. 2513245, Award No. 2409148, and Award No. 2309591.
Development also received support from the Exascale Computing Project (17-SC-20-SC), a collaborative effort of the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science and the National Nuclear Security Administration.
