Creating a pot file

@folkertvanheusden how do you manage translations? As far as I understand, at first, you create a pot file with all strings and then update po files with the newly introduced strings.

That's how I do it yes.

I wanted to say that the pot file is missing in the git repo.

This is not mandatory but you can handle almost everything we do in po/CMakeLists.txt in one command: gettext_process_pot_file(). But I'm still investigationg the options.
