This works, tested on the latest OTP package.
The only breaking change is for windows users that want to build OTP packages.
With git patch is still possible to build in teory on windows if the dockerized toolchain is used, but since this has never been done and there is no need for it I do not see value in keeping backward compatibility...
The deployment logic is unchanged so for normal user, this should not matter.
