when use pyfsdb as

the following error

Can you show me the header line from the file? Is it not utf-8 encoded?

To get the header, just do head -1 FILE.fsdb on a linux/OSX system (or linux subsystem in windows).

I cannot upload a file because of our company's security.
but we usually run a hspice simulation on netlist, and various sourced files.
I used some methods to open this file with diverse encoding style, but it didn't work.

Any chance you can provide at least the first line of a file? I suspect that it's the column names are encoded in utf-8.

Ok, I think I've narrowed the problem down. I've published version 2.4.2 which I think should fix this problem. Can someone verify this recent version fixes the bug?

I am sorry I am late. I verified pyfsdb version==2.4.2, but I countered this messages during achieving column_names
TypeError: can only concatenate str (not "bytes") to str

So I was guessing where that problem might be, but failed to reproduce it. Can you tell me where you're seeing that error? IE, what does the complete backtrace look like?
