Install every pet in one step from the repository root.
./install-macos.shFrom PowerShell:
powershell -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\install-windows.ps1The installers validate every package first, discover pets recursively, and copy
each manifest and spritesheet into the correct directory under
~/.codex/pets (macOS) or %USERPROFILE%\.codex\pets (Windows). If
CODEX_HOME is set, they use that directory instead.
To install only one pet manually, copy its pet.json and spritesheet.webp
into a directory whose name matches the id in the manifest. For example:
mkdir -p ~/.codex/pets/data
cp star-trek/data/pet.json star-trek/data/spritesheet.webp ~/.codex/pets/data/Restart or refresh Codex after copying the files.

They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the creators, studios, publishers, or other rights holders associated with the characters and properties that inspired them. All character names, franchise names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
