Why
The interface is English-only (<html lang="en">) while the current catalog and pilot community are largely francophone (Gabon). Source audit: docs/design/ux-design-audit-2026-09-17.md (UX-50).
Scope when activated
String extraction, French and English, browser-language default with a remembered choice, lang attribute, number/amount formatting, Product host language behavior. Artist-provided metadata is not machine-translated.
Acceptance (when activated)
All listener, room and artist journeys usable in French at 390 and 1440 px, long-string layout checks, e2e selectors independent of language.
