Two new features have been implemented:
LLM provider authentication adaptation: Certain LLM service providers perform origin detection to distinguish between requests from the Codex Desktop App、the Codex CLI or others. The current GA version cannot pass the identity verification of one of these providers. To resolve this, an optimized solution was generated by GPT-5.6 Sol and compiled into this document.
Background task audio reminder: When the TUI runs in the background and users switch to other windows (such as browsing with Chrome), they cannot perceive task progress in real time. An audio notification has been added to alert users immediately upon TUI task completion.
