Add origin

Personally, I'm a sucker for locally produced stuff. For this reason, I'd like to see a "origin" field added to the YAML files and the information presented in the rendered table.

Would such a contribution be (potentially) acceptable?

I think this is a good idea and worth doing. Thanks for the suggestion.

Have you checked how many of the products actually list where they were produced? I don't think it is worth doing if we only get the origin from lets say 30%.

For the YAML, I would add origin and then the country code (CH, DE, ...). If there is no known origin, set - as the value. (I personally would add NA but then it might get confused for North America) Please also update the YAML template file if you add this key.

Then in the table, I would not add it as shown by default, but rather one which can be enabled with the filter. Once there is a version to check out, I will however reevaluate this if the column does not take to much space.

I found this information to be listed on many cans - e.g. LIDL, Aldi, Migros, ... and for some others it is quite easy to figure out (e.g. Club Mate).

I would prefer origin-state rather than canton for non-Swiss products, off which there are a few. However, I agree and I think declaring the state takes it a bit to far for now. Unless you find this information next to origin country, I would not bother. (Unless you want to really find/scrape all that information)
