Hi, I'm Mohammed R. Attia

A computer scientist from Egypt, focused on systems and low-level engineering

I am Mohammed Attia, a Computer Science student at Helwan University and an alumnus of the STEM High School for Boys in Giza, Egypt. I focus on systems programming, kernel development, and low-level engineering, most recently as a Google Summer of Code developer, where I built Bluetooth HID support for Haiku OS from the kernel driver up through the server layer. I'm also an active competitive programmer (ACPC finalist, two-time Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics finalist) and won 1st place in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics at the 2023 National ISEF. I enjoy mentoring students in data structures, algorithms, and competitive programming.
