moroshani/README.md

Mohammad Mehdi Roshani

I publish as Moroshani and build practical software around Persian/RTL workflows, public-data monitoring, product surfaces, and reusable tools.

My work usually sits close to real use: dashboards people need to trust, interfaces that need to feel natural in Persian, and components that should be easy to reuse inside actual products.

Projects I Build and Maintain

These are my own products and maintained open-source projects. Forks and work I submit to other maintainers are listed separately below.

Project Role Public surface What it is
Dominoyar Product home Repository Public-facing home for a Persian RTL domino scorekeeper for web, PWA, and Android.
SetadInfo Open-source app Live demo Persian RTL workbench for monitoring public Setad purchases, tenders, and auctions. The public lab uses synthetic browser-only data.
Solar Hijri Calendar Component Open-source package Testing lab · v0.1.0 Tested React Solar Hijri / Jalali date infrastructure for Persian apps.

Focus

  • AI-assisted practical engineering across codebases
  • Polyglot bug fixes, tests, documentation, and developer tooling
  • TypeScript, React, Vite, and Python projects
  • Persian and RTL user experiences
  • Solar Hijri / Jalali date interfaces
  • AI/dev-tooling examples and workflow polish
  • Dashboards, workbenches, and operational tools
  • Public-data monitoring and automation
  • Product polish that makes software easier to trust, maintain, and reuse

Open Source Direction

I am building a steady contribution practice around useful fixes: documentation gaps, tests, accessibility, AI/dev-tooling examples, Persian/RTL support, and small product-quality improvements in projects where I can make a clear contribution.

See the open-source maintenance record for current project status, verification evidence, contribution links, and near-term plans.

Contributions to Other Projects

The repositories and pull requests in this section belong to their respective upstream maintainers. My forks of projects such as pandas and Persian Calendar exist only to prepare contributions; they are not projects I claim or maintain.

Contribution Status What changed
persian-calendar/persian-calendar#1879 Merged Fixed Gregorian month-title overflow at large Android font scales and added an exact UI regression test.
pandas-dev/pandas#66600 In review Fixed missing-value shifts for NumPy bytes dtypes without changing pandas 4 warning policy.
pandas-dev/pandas#66601 In review Preserved original values for Python CSV and HTML converters while retaining numeric parsing elsewhere.
pandas-dev/pandas#66603 In review Restored non-string column labels in JSON table roundtrips and rejected ambiguous label collisions.
nanlabs/frontend-reference#139 Merged Added a React Router types guide and adjusted it to match the repository's generated README flow.
storybookjs/mcp#366 Open Fixed a stale Storybook MCP agent-setup documentation link.
usemoss/moss#438 Open Added runnable metadata-filter operator examples for Moss JavaScript users.
apilens/apilens#207 Open Added sidebar ARIA state and selection metadata for project-switcher accessibility.
influxdata/docs-v2#7524 Merged Repaired broken InfluxDB 3 documentation fragments for tab links, token references, and client-library anchors.

AI-Assisted Workflow

I use Codex and other AI tools as engineering collaborators, while personally reviewing, testing, and owning the work I publish.

How This Account Is Organized

  • Product source that should stay private is kept private.
  • Public product repos are used for product information, support, privacy, and release material.
  • Open-source repos are intended to be readable, forkable, and useful to other builders.
