What is this?

2.4-history branch

since linux-2.4.16 until linux-2.4.31 with tags, created from the release tarballs.

this repository is branched from the linux-2.4.15 release of the tglx-bitkeeper branch.

2.4-wtarreau branch

linux-2.4.32 and later.

this repository is a clone of the wtarreau's linux-2.4 maintenance repository below.

tglx-bitkeeper branch

• 2.4 kernels: since linux-2.4.0 until linux-2.4.15
• 2.5 and later: since linux-2.5.0 until linux-2.6.12-rc2

this repository is a clone of tglx's history repository which was converted from the Linux BitKeeper repository. (actually forked from https://github.com/heesub/tglx).

But unlike original tglx's repository, this repository includes tags for 2.4 releases as well.
