Version-only change — the release workflow writes whatever version it is given into the tag commit, so this is about what a build from main reports, not about what the next release will be called.
The Homebrew formula is updated separately in namolnad/homebrew-formulae@2bc5351: 0.5.0, its build number, an Xcode 16 build dependency for the Swift 6 requirement, and a corrected description that had been jt's verbatim.
