CranialOS is a ZERO STATE, files-first framework for brainstorming, durable project continuity, and portable creative work across AI models and platforms.
It ships with no inherited user data, lore, memory, private paths, or source-derived embeddings. Its handbook teaches an assistant to separate sources, verified facts, candidates, simulations, creative canon, continuity memory, and temporary runtime state before beginning a project.
Download or upload CranialOS-Handbook-0.1.0-rc1.md to a capable AI workspace and say:
Read this handbook, load CranialOS, and give me the mandatory onboarding tutorial.
- writing and worldbuilding;
- lesson, activity, and fictional-case brainstorming for educator review;
- synthetic healthcare training and non-clinical workflow brainstorming;
- research-question and source mapping;
- campaigns, game design, collections, and other long-lived projects.
CranialOS is a brainstorming and organizational framework—not factual, clinical, legal, financial, educational, employment, disciplinary, or public-safety authority.
The child-safety rail is mandatory and fail-closed. Any build that weakens it is SAFETY-VOID and cannot claim CranialOS conformance. See the handbook for the complete safety, legality, provenance, and high-impact-domain boundaries.
This is 0.1.0-rc1, the first public release candidate. The handbook is the authoritative public artifact for this version. Contributions should preserve ZERO STATE and must not include real personal, patient, student, client, or proprietary project data.
