Pierre's open source projects (and one which isnt yet)

SotF and Sonium are 2 significants projects developped in my limited spare time. Spinorama is a collection of speaker measurements which had more success than anticipated. SotF is relatively well designed and Sonium is professional quality.

SotF project

  • Math-Audio: a set of crates for IIR, FIR, RIR and other DSP classical algorithms.
  • AutoEQ: a SOTA room equalizer that can optimise any number of channels for psychoacoustics objectives.
  • GPUI Toolkit: a UI toolkit build on top of GPUI that also support mobile platforms and wasm. GPUI is developped by the Zed Team but they are not focusing on it today. Note that the toolkit is diverging more and more from the original.
  • Symphonia add-ons : a set of crates to complement Symphonia: added support for DVD, WVPACK etc
  • SOFA Reader: read SOFA format without the full hdf5 library.
  • SotF: a TUI, Desktop, iOS, tvOS, Android app that is a swiss army knife for audio: stream and play music on headphones, stereo speakers or home cinema, optimise the sound, add effects, train your ears, a/b tests etc

Wants to know more? jump to SotF homepage, download the app, and play with it. Start it on github, give us feedback.

Sonium

A scientfic computation software for multiphysics. Jump here for detailed informations.

Spinorama gallery.

A website that collect speaker measurements and allow you to compare them. Surprisingly successfull with 1 million unique visior per year and 4 req/s averaged over a year after removing bots. Jump here for more info.

Games

NethackRS: rewrote Nethack in Rust. Harder than it looks like since the code is really old and untested. TUI version is playable and 3D version is unfinished (it needs more tokens:)

Web3

  • StkOpt: a staking optimiser for Polkadot in Rust: working, TUI, Desktop and iOS app.
  • Confiture: used quint and lean4 to look in details at Polkadot concensus
  • DotIDX: a blockindex for Polkadot in Golang; currently down, it uses too much disk space (>50TB with 1 backup) and too much bandwidth (machine is behind a DSLAM)

Tools

  • R2Factor: refactor rust code into smaller files. Useful since LLMs have a hard time with a large ones.
