Hey, I'm Zi 👋

Developer • Builder • Founder of Brand Launch NG

I build things, break things, fix things, and occasionally wonder why the code worked five minutes ago.

I enjoy turning ideas into practical software, developer tools, open-source projects, and experiments.

👨🏽‍💻 About Me

I'm Zi, a developer and builder focused on creating practical software and learning by actually building things.

I started with frontend development and have been gradually moving deeper into backend development, APIs, databases, deployment, and hardware/software projects.

I'm interested in understanding how things work, not just making them work.

So my GitHub is a mixture of:

  • Completed projects
  • Open-source projects
  • Experiments
  • Learning projects
  • Components
  • Backend systems
  • Random ideas that somehow became actual projects

Some repositories are polished.

Some are experiments.

Some are me asking:

"Can I actually build this?"

And then finding out the answer the hard way. 😭

🏢 Brand Launch NG

Building useful things, one project at a time.

Brand Launch NG is an organization I founded and currently build.

It serves as the home for projects I create across:

  • Open-source software
  • Developer tools
  • Digital products
  • Job and client projects
  • Software experiments
  • Future products and ideas

The long-term goal is to grow Brand Launch NG into an organization that builds useful technology and provides practical digital solutions.

For now, it's still growing.

So no giant office building yet.

Just ideas, code, GitHub, and a suspicious number of browser tabs. 😂

Founder & Developer

Zi

I'm currently responsible for the ideas, development, experimentation, and technical direction behind Brand Launch NG.

As the organization grows, that may change.

For now, the workflow is basically:

Idea
  ↓
Design
  ↓
Code
  ↓
Bug
  ↓
Debug
  ↓
Coffee / Water / Prayer
  ↓
Fix
  ↓
Ship

🚀 Current Open-Source Project

Cheatlet

Cheatlet is an open-source, offline-friendly developer reference tool built under Brand Launch NG.

Search. Find. Copy. Keep Building.

Cheatlet exists for those moments when you remember that there is a command for something...

...but your brain has decided that today is not the day to remember it.

Instead of constantly searching the internet for small pieces of syntax and commands, Cheatlet aims to provide quick, searchable references that can also be kept locally.

Current Focus

  • Developer cheat sheets
  • Quick references
  • Searchable technical information
  • Code examples
  • Copy-friendly snippets
  • Offline-friendly usage
  • Lightweight frontend

Future Direction

Cheatlet will continue evolving through development, learning, and user feedback.

Potential improvements include:

  • More programming languages
  • More developer tools
  • Better search
  • Better filtering
  • Step-by-step tutorials
  • Screenshot-based guides
  • Practical development guides
  • User suggestions
  • Improved offline capabilities
  • Optional advanced features

📴 Why Offline?

One of the ideas behind Cheatlet is simple:

Your developer references shouldn't disappear just because your internet connection decided to take a vacation.

Cheatlet is designed to work offline when downloaded or cloned.

That means you can keep a local copy and access the core references without constantly depending on an internet connection.

The goal is to make it useful when:

  • Internet access is limited
  • You want local references
  • You don't want to repeatedly search the web
  • You want quick information while coding
  • You simply prefer having your tools locally

🧰 Technologies & Tools

These are some of the technologies and tools I currently work with or am actively learning.

Frontend

JavaScript

I particularly enjoy working with Vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Backend

Node.js

Express.js

Database

MongoDB

Mongoose

Development Tools

Git

GitHub

🌱 Currently Learning

I'm continuously expanding my skills.

Currently spending time with:

Node.js
Express.js
MongoDB
Mongoose
REST APIs
Authentication
Authorization
API Security
Deployment
Testing
C
Arduino
Embedded Systems
Hardware / Software Integration

The list is probably going to get longer.

It usually does.

🔭 Things I'm Interested In

I'm particularly interested in technology that connects software with real-world problems.

Software

  • Web applications
  • Developer tools
  • Offline-first applications
  • Backend systems
  • APIs
  • Digital products

Engineering

  • Embedded systems
  • Communication technology
  • Hardware/software integration
  • Practical engineering solutions

Eventually, I'd like to work on systems that go beyond simply building another website.

📂 What's On My GitHub?

My repositories aren't all supposed to look the same.

You'll find a mixture of:

🏆 Completed Projects

Projects that made it from an idea into working software.

🧪 Experiments

Small projects created to understand a technology or concept.

🧩 Components & Utilities

Reusable pieces, UI experiments, and small tools.

📚 Learning Projects

Projects created specifically to learn something new.

🚧 Work In Progress

Things that are still being built.

Some will become proper products.

Some will remain experiments.

Some will probably teach me what I should never do again. 😂

🤝 Open Source

I believe useful software should be allowed to grow through collaboration, feedback, and shared knowledge.

Projects under Brand Launch NG may be released as open source so people can:

  • ⭐ Star them
  • 🐛 Report bugs
  • 💡 Suggest improvements
  • 📖 Learn from the code
  • 🔧 Contribute
  • 📢 Share them
  • 🧠 Build something useful from them

If you find something broken, please let me know.

I'd rather receive an issue than discover the bug six months later while confidently telling someone:

"Yeah, everything works." 😭

💛 Supporting Open Source

The goal is to keep projects accessible and useful.

Some projects may include an optional way to financially support their development.

There is no requirement to donate.

You can support a project by:

  • ⭐ Starring the repository
  • 🐛 Reporting bugs
  • 💡 Suggesting features
  • 🔧 Contributing
  • 📢 Sharing it
  • 📚 Using it
  • 💬 Giving feedback

If you genuinely want to support a project financially, that option may also be available.

I'd rather build useful things and let people decide whether they want to support them than cover everything in advertisements.

🐍 GitHub Contribution Snake

Apparently my GitHub contributions needed a snake.

So here we are.

📊 GitHub Stats

📈 My Development Journey

I don't measure progress only by the number of technologies I can list.

For me, progress looks more like this:

Idea
  ↓
Research
  ↓
Build
  ↓
Something breaks
  ↓
Debug
  ↓
Learn
  ↓
Fix
  ↓
Improve
  ↓
Ship
  ↓
Get feedback
  ↓
Repeat

Every project teaches me something.

Even the projects that fight back.

🏢 Brand Launch NG

Founded & Built by Zi

Brand Launch NG is my growing organization for building:

  • Open-source software
  • Developer tools
  • Digital products
  • Job and client projects
  • Technical experiments
  • Future products

The organization is still young.

The projects are still growing.

The ideas are definitely not finished.

That's kind of the point.

Build useful things. Keep learning. Keep building.

You might find something useful.

You might find something weird.

You might even find the exact project that saves you from Googling the same command for the 47th time.
