Orvano Wiki

Orvano is a static, responsive website for a traditional men's wear brand, built with HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript. There is no build step and no runtime dependencies.

Live site: https://stackified.github.io/Orvano/

Pages

Page File Purpose
Home index.html Hero, featured collection, mission, seasonal highlights, services
Catalog catalog.html Product grid with filters, search, sort, and pagination
About about.html Brand story, values, and founders
Services services.html Tailoring, alterations, and styling services
Contact contact.html Contact details, form, and business hours

Project structure

index.html, catalog.html, about.html, services.html, contact.html page views
assets/css/ style.css (global) and catalog.css
assets/js/ navbar.js and main.js (shared UI behavior)
controllers/ catalogController.js (catalog logic)
models/ products.json (sample product data)
assets/images/ brand and product images

Running locally

The catalog loads product data with fetch, which does not work from a file:// path, so serve the folder over HTTP:

python -m http.server 8000
# then open http://localhost:8000/

How the catalog works

controllers/catalogController.js fetches models/products.json, then renders the grid and handles category, price, and availability filters, text search, sorting, and pagination. The filter sidebar (open, close, overlay, and Escape key) is wired up in the inline script in catalog.html.

Deployment

The site is served by GitHub Pages from the main branch (root) of stackified/Orvano. Pushing to main publishes automatically. The JavaScript is scanned by CodeQL on every push.
