Each one is a working file rather than a whitepaper: something you paste into the tool you already use, keep where your standards live, and reword until it sounds like you. Published because a standard only compounds when the other people drafting alongside you are working from the same page.

Each lives in its own repository so it carries its own version history, its own issues, and its own license.
Storied builds narrative operating systems: the language a company runs on, treated as infrastructure rather than decoration. These are layers of that work, released whole rather than described.
The reason to publish rather than keep them is the same reason to write them down at all. A standard is worth more when everyone at the table has read it, and the fastest way there is to hand someone the standard rather than the corrections.
