Preprocessing images
Single-stroke pen paths from any outline font. Computes the exact medial axis of the glyph's Bezier contours instead of rasterizing first, then prunes it, fits it as splines and splits it into strokes.
Segment and measure binary branching shapes: centerlines, hierarchical space partitioning, and width
Implementation and evaluation of a bisector-based skeletonization method (Saidou et al. 2024) for extracting vessel centerlines from 2D medical images, benchmarked against pixel thinning.
