Mesabe Install

There are a few options for setting up Mesabe. Which one you choose is up to you and will be dependent on your computer’s OS and your technical ability.

Option 1: Virtual Machine Bootstrap Script

Requires downloading and installing either VMWare or VirtualBox, plus downloading and installing a pre-built Ubuntu image, plus downloading and running a shell script. Note: This script is maintained by a community member. Use at your own risk.

Option 2: Pre-built Virtual Machine

Requires downloading and installing VirtualBox, plus downloading a large pre-built Ubuntu image with Mesabe already installed and configured. Note: This virtual machine is maintained by a community member. Use at your own risk.

Option 3: DIY

Requires installing and configuring everything yourself. This is really for the developers out there who’d like to work on and/or contribute to Mesabe.
