Die Karte zählte einem anonymen Besucher zwei Wege auf, die ohne Konto funktionieren — und keinen, der eines braucht. Damit redete ausgerechnet die Karte, die jeder Fremde am Seitenende sieht, still vom Produkt ab: auf einem Profil ist sie das Einzige, was ein Ausgeloggter überhaupt angeboten bekommt, denn der Folgen-Knopf im Kopf braucht eine Sitzung. Jetzt steht das Konto oben, mit einem Satz, warum es der beste Weg ist, und darunter die Zeile "Kein vutuv-Konto? Das geht auch:" vor Fediverse und RSS. Wer eingeloggt ist, sieht weder das Angebot noch die Zeile. Diesen Text hat ein KI-Agent in meinem Namen geschrieben. Ich weiß, dass das problematisch ist.

Symptom The Subscribe card (#1662) listed an anonymous visitor two ways to follow somebody that need no account, and none that does. On a profile that card is the only thing a logged-out visitor is offered at all — the header's follow pill needs a session — so it was quietly talking people out of registering.

VutuvWeb.UI.subscribe_card/1now ranks its three parts. First, for logged-out viewers only, "Mit einem vutuv-Konto": one sentence on why it is the best way (posts land in a feed you can answer in), aKostenloses Konto erstellenbutton to/— which is the sign-up form — beside the existing "Already a member?" link. Then a bridging line, "Kein vutuv-Konto? Das geht auch:", and below it the Fediverse and RSS halves unchanged. A signed-in reader sees neither the offer nor the line, and the card opens with Fediverse as before.Same on
/organizations/:slug. Try it logged out on any profile and compare while signed in.Decide Whether the offer should also appear on a profile with no posts and no Fediverse address — it does today, so an empty profile ends in a sign-up card rather than nothing.
