autobdd-test

⚠️ MERGED INTO AutoBDD — DEVELOPMENT STOPPED HERE

This repo's content has been folded into AutoBDD as that project's internal test suite (see AutoBDD/test-projects/autobdd-test/). The four-repo structure was consolidated into a single AutoBDD monorepo (phase-1).

No further development happens in this repo. Changes to the test suite should be made in the AutoBDD repo instead. This repo is kept read-only for historical reference and to document how an AutoBDD test project is set up.

Reference: https://github.com/xyteam/AutoBDD

purposes:

  1. (historical) smoke test and demo the automagic power of xyteam/autobdd test framework;
  2. (historical) serve as a template for setting up a new autobdd test project — note the content now lives inside AutoBDD as its internal test suite.

requirement:

  1. docker,
  2. docker-compose
  3. git
  4. vnc client/viewer

demo setup:

  1. mkdir -p $HOME/Projects
  2. git clone https://github.com/xyteam/autobdd-test.git $HOME/Projects/autobdd-test

test and report:

results are grouped by test suite under test-results/:

sample report output

a representative green-run output per suite (what each report/run.log looks like) is available as a gist: https://gist.github.com/xywang68/79d2410ac7c7b7607a87216b0ea35ee2
